I advise every customer not to go to this bank. This bank is very bad. Four girls are scamming you. They have support. My car was hit and compensation. The worst bank. I spent two hours standing today. Why is this bank with four bad girls working there? The worst bank I have ever seen in my life. Today, I was reversing and moving forward. A woman was shouting, “You supported me, you supported me.” I didn’t go back and see the car. I swear to you, I swear I didn’t support it or do anything to it. I checked the camera and it told me the camera isn’t clear. Then there were two, three, and four girls. Here they work in the bank. Their job is to swindle the customer and make them lose money. This bank has no one to blame or anything. They swindle the customer and make them lose money.

Ridiculously antiquated system of having to mail a letter to close an account has resulted in me having several overdraft fees accessed, despite the fact that I’ve changed all of my online charges to my new bank. Be aware that getting away from Evergreen, should you move, is going to be a costly experience.

Single star is for their “customer service” alone. There is no way to call a branch directly and the automated line is absolutely useless. My experience with EGCU has been good otherwise but it’s utterly impossible to get a hold of someone when you need to.

I’ve had a mostly positive experience with this bank, good people, good service, but I recently went in to cash a $100 check from a family member in Canada and was told that they’d charge $20 to cash the international check. My previous bank cashed checks like this with no extra charge. It’s a bank. Disappointing, and making me question if I should have joined this bank.
Edit: Sigh. Apparently they don’t exchange Euros either (or any other foreign currency other than canadian dollars)

Went to withdraw some money and had to deal with the most unfriendly lady. She was rude and snippy. I am a new member and I didn’t have a card yet and she acted like it was the end of the world and she was mad that she had to actually do work. I plan on closing the account asap. I went to Bangor Savings and they were the friendliest ladies ever.
